About the Authors

Here’s a little background on the authors:

Clay and Christina

Clay Butler

Clay is the founder of Butler Productions Multimedia, a full-service audio and multimedia production company. With Butler Productions Multimedia, Clay has had the privilege of providing sound reinforcement to such top acts as John Mayer, Atlanta Rhythm Section, John Waller, and After Edmund. He has experienced traveling the world as a founding member of a band that later went on to receive both Grammy and Dove Award nominations. Clay’s musical compositions have been published by six major production music libraries for use in film and television, and his voice can be heard on jingles throughout the U.S.

In 2007, Clay was invited by West Georgia Technical College to help develop the Recording Studio Technologies program, where he serves as lead instructor. In 2009, Clay added author to his list of titles by writing Recording Basics: A Beginner’s Guide to Producing Music. He also authors the blogs Practical Music Ministry and Music Is My Biz. Clay’s also a frequent guest speaker at workshops, conferences, and seminars and is the Director of Music at King’s Pasture Community Church in Hamilton, GA.

Christina Butler

Christina Butler resides in LaGrange, GA where she has taught Exceptional Education for six years at Gardner Newman Middle School. Christina volunteers at King’s Pasture Community Church in Hamilton, GA as Department Leader for 6, 7, and 8 year olds. Christina earned a B. S. in Christian Ministry from Shorter College and a Master’s of Special Education from Columbus State University. She thoroughly loves teaching and enjoys finding new ways to make students successful. Most recently, Christina accepted the role of head of Butler Productions’ Artist Management and Promotion in addition to being their resident photographer.
